Terry Healy believes that parking at hospitals should be subsidised and that Fiona Stanley Hospital needs two new multi-storey car parks.
As promised, the WA Government is building a new 12 storey 274-bed Women's and Babies Hospital at the Fiona Stanley precinct - planning to open in 2029 and two new multi-storey car parks.
Construction has commenced! The first phase of construction involves removing existing asphalt and levelling the site to lay the foundations for the new hospital
Over the next six months, planned construction activities for the new hospital will include:
  • Electrical, plumbing, earthworks, piling works and installing the first tower crane on site
In addition to the new hospital, the New Women and Babies Hospital Project includes two new multi-deck car parks delivering 2,500 bays within the Fiona Stanley Hospital precinct.
Work on the first 1,500 bay multi-deck car park at Fiona Stanley Hospital will get underway shortly, with planning for the second car park in its early stages.
Currently, the Liberals are opposing building the hospital at Fiona Stanley and they oppose our Two new multi-storey carparks.
We need these new car bays at Fiona Stanley Hospital!
